Group Life Hub

Group Life is a critical part of doing life at Turning Point.

    Every week, groups meet to dive into God's Word, grow in relationship, and support one another and the community through prayer and service.

    Below are categories and a description of the types of groups to help you find a place to connect and belong at Turning Point!

Community Groups
A small group of 8-10 people that meet weekly, primarily in homes using Sunday sermon notes, or other Bible Studies to stimulate discussion and deepen relationships. These groups are a safe, inviting environment to bring your loved ones considering faith, as well as, those who have a deep faith in Christ. They grow leaders in training and multiply regularly using group courtesies*

Common Interest Groups
Small to large gatherings of people that learn and discuss topics common to their need or interest. The various groups are diverse in numbers, ages, meeting times and locations.

Service Groups
Fun and joyful service groups, primarily made of volunteers who facilitate the ministry and create an inviting place to belong. Prayer groups fall under this category and though often unseen, prayer fulfills a vital spiritual service to the body.

-Pray for the empty chair (those who need to be invited)
-Start on time, end on time
-What's said here, stays here
-Keep the conversation moving
-Speak from and use "I" statements
-Turn off phones
